Celebrating the Maa-nulth Final Agreement
Premier Campbell participated in a Huu-ay-aht community event on September 7th to celebrate the result of a historic vote. On July 29, the Huu-ay-aht First Nations voted 90 per cent in favour of endorsing the Maa-nulth Final Agreement. The remaining four Maa-nulth First Nations - the Ucluelet First Nation, the Toquaht Nation, the Ka:'yu:'k't'h'/Che:k'tles7et'h' First Nations and the Uchucklesaht Tribe - will be holding their community votes in October 2007.
