World-Class Aerospace Facility Opens
Premier Campbell officially opened BCIT's new $76.5-million aerospace training campus on October 12. The facility is Canada's first post-secondary institution with control tower simulation technology and will help students and B.C.'s aerospace training industry develop leading-edge skills. The Province provided $16.4 million toward the campus project, with BCIT contributing more than $60 million.
