Expanding Covenant House
Premier Campbell was joined by provincial and community partners on April 14 to celebrate a $5 million funding partnership for a major expansion to Covenant House Vancouver, a shelter and resource centre for homeless youth. A total provincial contribution of $4.75 million and additional funding from VANOC will allow Covenant House Vancouver to open 32 new transitional housing beds for youth, ages 16 to 22, at its Pender Street location.
