Creating Spirit in Qualicum Beach and Port Alberni
Premier Campbell announced funding for two new Spirit Squares on April 4. The Town of Qualicum Beach received $162,500 to create a welcome gathering place at the site of the 1933 community hall, located at Memorial Avenue and Veteran's Way . The Premier also announced that Port Alberni's Harbour Quay will be upgraded and expanded thanks to $440,000 from the Province's B.C. Spirit Squares program.
